Who Needs A Roof?

Taken on the road from Agadir to Essaouira, these images of Moroccan buildings are only a small representation of what people there live and work in. Sure there are modern apartments and houses there too but the colours of the building materials used here are so much more interesting.

The Face of a Generation

This woman was definitely my favourite encounter of the trip. I came across her in the fishing town of Essaouira where she was begging on the street. I gave her some money for the photo, an exchange she seemed pretty happy with.
If you look at the bike in the background you can see through relativity just how tiny and hunched over she is. There was lots of beggars in Morocco but she stood out as being particularly old. I love the colours of the picture..

The Streets of Marrakesh

Dim lamps light up a rare quiet moment in an otherwise bustling city.

The largest city of Morroco is made up of a maze of winding alleyways and dusty streets. Crossing from the modern areas of Marrakesh into the underdeveloped inner-city souks was fascinating, if not a little scary...

Taken in 2009.
